Benson Tower is expected to approach 100 percent occupancy with the anticipated arrival of a Fidelity Homestead Savings Bank branch and the expansion of existing tenant Ochsner Health System.
Fidelity plans to open a new 700-square-foot branch by late fall, pending approval from the Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions and federal regulators.
The Benson Tower branch will emphasize self service kiosks and come equipped with $250,000 in the latest banking technology, Fidelity president and CEO Alton McRee said.
Ochsner is planning a significant expansion of its current footprint in Benson Tower by year’s end, including the addition of a high-end food service vendor.
Look for a follow-up report with details on Ochsner’s plans on Friday.
