Maison de la Luz, a distinctive new guest house experience, will open its doors to the public at 546 Carondelet Street in Spring 2019 with 67 guest rooms. The six-story property is the former City Hall annex that will now house a boutique hotel, allowing guests the freedom to explore the city’s culture, or seek refuge in a luxurious, private space.
All of the hotel’s amenity spaces are designed with comfort and ease in-mind, including the private breakfast room and guest lounge, which will feature a curated culinary experience and a unique library-bar concept.
“After introducing Ace Hotel New Orleans to the city, we were excited to grow our partnership by collaborating on another unique property,” Domain Companies Principal Matt Schwartz said in a statement. “Maison de la Luz captures the distinct history and culture of New Orleans with thoughtful design and carefully considered amenities.”
