Magasin Kitchen, Kim Nguyen’s second Vietnamese restaurant, is now open in the Paramount at South Market District!
The restaurant will offer the traditionally sought after noodles and pho alongside Vietnamese home-style dishes including stir-fries finished at the table, curries, congee with salted pork and fermented egg, and a variety of fried rice dishes.
“Pho is so popular now, I feel like people know it and it’s just a matter of going wherever they like it best,” said Nguyen. “But now we want to show a different style of Vietnamese food, more of the way we eat at home.”
In the next few weeks, Magasin will also add a bar and snack menu featuring curried edamame, pork skewers, and lettuce wraps for people on their way to a game or performance downtown. Magasin Kitchen joins a growing number of restaurants calling South Market District home including Willa Jean Bakery, Blaze Pizza, Company Burger, and, opening in 2016, Part & Parcel.
Magasin Kitchen is located at The Paramount at South Market, 611 O’Keefe Ave. It is open daily from 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
