There are few things we love in New Orleans more than food, music, and a good party, and The Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival and Boudin, Bourbon & Beer will bring all three downtown this fall. Check out our highlight of both festivals below, and we’ll see you there!
When: Friday, Oct. 17: 5:30 to 8:30 PM | Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19: 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM
Where: Lafayette Square Park
What to Expect: Amazing music and barbecue for starters. This year’s festival is headlined by musicians Los Lobos and will feature a “huge spread of great barbecue, representing several regional styles.” (Complete food vendor list and menu items here.) The event will also host an art market with “35 of our best local and regional makers of hand-crafted artworks and home furnishings.”
When: Friday, Nov. 7: 6 PM
Where: Champions Square
Cost: $99 for regular price tickets through Nov. 6 | $125 for day-of tickets (if available)
What to Expect: Oh, just food from Emeril Lagasse, Donald Link, and 50 of the country’s best chefs. There will also be an open bar featuring (naturally) bourbon, local craft beers, other premium spirits, and fine wines. Grace Potter & the Nocturnals will be performing, along with other musicians from New Orleans and beyond. The ticket price might sound a bit steep, but trust us — this event is worth every penny.
